HOW DO I USE THE POOJA CLEANSE® FOR MY SACRAL CHAKRA?
The POOJA CLEANSE® is a time for deep self reflection and is a multilayered experience. To prepare (Day 0), create a sacred space for yourself by drawing a warm bath and dropping your first SACRAL Chakra Bath Bomb for a sensual, relaxing ritual to soothe and relax your mind, body and senses. Take this time to set your intention for the coming week. On Days 1-7, you’ll begin incorporating various rituals and practices (which will include your Body Bar and SACRAL Chakra crystals) to establish a healthy foundation for a creative and connected life. Set time daily to capture your thoughts and feelings in a journal. Allow space for meditation and contemplation. At the end of Day 7, you'll wrap your weeklong journey with a bath using your second SACRAL Chakra Bath Bomb. This is the perfect time to reflect on your journey and any transformations you may have experienced.
SACRAL Chakra Aromatherapy
Ylang Ylang
Derived from botanical flowers, studies have shown that this essential oil has a compound found to possess stress-reducing properties that soothes anxiety, sadness, tension, and sleeplessness. Ylang Ylang is also used to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, improve mood, and enhance libido.
Neroli
Also known as orange blossom oil, Neroli is extracted from the flowers of bitter orange trees. This oil is said to reduce inflammation, alleviate stress and anxiety, stimulate circulation and enhance mood. A small study showed that Neroli relieved symptoms associated with menopause, high blood pressure and low libido.
Sacral Chakra Balancing
Begin by embracing your emotions whatever that may be, without judgement, because it’s ok to be you exactly as you are.
This is your time to be intimate, loving and affectionate with your desires, creativity and emotions without judgement and without fear, as the authentic you. Underactive energy in this chakra can cause physical and emotional distress like fear of happiness, self-sabotage, depression, low libido and infections. With overactive energy you may be experiencing destructive emotions like jealousy or rage, you may be getting lost in fantasies or indulging excessively in addictive behaviors and being overly dependent on others.
The key is to familiarize yourself with the signs and symptoms of an under or overactive second chakra.
Once you recognize what is amiss, the next step is learning about pooja practice to begin the journey and restore balance to your sacral chakra and its full potential, improving your overall well-being. So be honest with yourself, pay attention and observe when you are having difficulty feeling joy for yourself or maybe overly envious of others. Ask your body where it's coming from, breathe deeply and focus on that area. Journal any thoughts or images that come to you. And when you are ready to be kind to yourself, draw a warm bath and use Pooja’s Sacral Chakra Bath Bomb to help release it.
Sacral Pooja Practice
Once in your warm bath, release the chakra bomb in your left hand and close your eyes. Breathe deeply inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth. Bring your awareness in your pelvic area, visualize an orange glow radiating around you. Let go of any emotional uncertainty in your life and chant the sacred Mantra ‘VAM’ for 1-2 minutes. When ready, open your eyes to see you are enveloped in the seed color of this chakra. Repeat aloud this powerful affirmation with eyes open or closed: “Light radiates from me and I embrace my emotions.” May this practice help to cleanse and restore balance, bringing healing and overall well-being to you. Rest and be at Peace.
